Energy Efficient CALPEX is characterised by very low energy loss. This is achieved by using the best materials and refined manufacturing processes to produce excellent long-term results from a polymer pipe. Even though some competing pipes use thicker insulation, they still lose much more heat than CALPEX. Feel free to contact us for a comparison. Lifetime degradation of CALPEX PUR insulation has been independently tested at only 3%.

Flexible Genius could be seen as creating something for nothing. Well, thats what the clever engineers at BRUGG Pipesystems have achieved. By re-configuring the design of the casing and modifying manufacturing tooling, CALPEX now is more flexible and comes on longer coils. This makes it easier to install, may reduce the number of underground joints and saves on storage and transport. At no extra cost to customers. We think thats genius.

|
Fast, Practical & Cold Weather Tolerant CALPEX - keep pace with demanding programmes. We deliver long coil lengths to minimize the number of undergound joints. Press fittings are quick to install and tolerant of poor weather conditions. Clip shells can be fitted and foamed at a later date when ambient temperature is suitable.

Professional CALPEX - its a story of sound engineering design and innovation combined with reliable and consistent manufacturing processes. All backed up by high inventories to ensure good response to customer needs. ISO 9001 and 9004 are of course fundamental to internal quality procedures, which have earned BRUGG Pipesystems an enviable reputation for all-round quality.

Connectors Compression connector (press fitting). Here were talking about axial press fittings. These consist of a sliding collar and spigot and require the use of special tools, which can be hired or purchased from us.
When used with PE-Xa pipe, these press-fit joints have been tried and tested over decades and give total reliability and leak-proof performance. Available as pipe couplings, tees, MI bsp connectors or weld-en connectors.
|
|
Screwed Connector In the UK, these may be referred to as compression connectors. These are simple, screwed connectors, which do not require special tools. We do not generally recommend these for use in underground joints. Available with MI bsp thread, tee or with a weld end.

Patented Clip Shells for Reliability & Security Connections made easy. A patented design constructed in high impact ABS. Used to seal and insulate underground joints for pipes with casings up to size 182mm. T, I or L- shaped.
The clips not only make installation quicker and less fiddly but they apply even pressure to the adhesive used to bond the shell halves together another factor in making the perfect joint. To make it easier for you, we deliver clip shells as complete kits with the appropriate seals, adhesive and foam insulation packs.
Star Features: * all-plastic design * no metal parts * no corrosion * shatterproof
